Para Karate

Para-karate is a parallel form of karate for athletes living with a disability. Murphy's Karate Academy will be starting a Para-Karate program that will introduce basic karate techniques for individuals who are intellectually impaired. The class will be run by Heather MacDonald who has worked under Heather Fidyk, who created the Para Karate program for Karate Canada.

Para Karate in Nova Scotia is governed by Karate Nova Scotia.
