Wheelchair Tennis

Wheelchair Tennis is a summer sport, but can be played year round and has both recreational and competitive opportunities. Wheelchair Tennis is an adapted version of Tennis. The game is played on a standard tennis court. The main rule difference with standing tennis is that the ball is allowed to bounce twice before being returned, and players are seated in sports chairs. In Nova Scotia, there is an entry point to this sport for everyone - whether through a recreational program, or competitive team!

Wheelchair Tennis in Nova Scotia is governed by Tennis Nova Scotia.
