Wheelchair Basketball

Wheelchair Basketball is a team sport that can be played year round. Wheelchair Basketball is an adapted version of Basketball that is fully inclusive! Wheelchair basketball is a fast-paced, hard-hitting, competitive sport played by two teams where the object is to shoot the ball into the opposing team’s basket. Every team is comprised of five players and seven substitutes, and players are seated in a sports chair. In Nova Scotia, there is an entry point to this sport for everyone of all abilities - whether through a recreational program, or competitive team!
