Para Snowboard

Para Snowboard is a winter sport with recreational and competitive opportunities for all ages. Snowboarding is a winter sport that involves descending a hill that is covered with snow while standing on a board attached to a rider’s feet. Para Snowboarding can be done by anyone with a number of adaptations possible depending on the participants' ability level, including sitskis, outriggers, and guides for visual impairments. In Nova Scotia, introductory lessons are available through CADS-NS, and competitive opportunities are available through NS Snowboard.
