Alpine Skiing

Para Alpine Skiing is a winter sport with recreational and competitive opportunities for all ages and abilities.  Alpine Skiing is a winter sport that involves descending a hill that is covered with snow while standing on two skis attached to the skiers feet.  Para Alpine Skiing can be done by anyone with a number of adaptations possible depending on the participants' ability level, including sitskis, outriggers, and guides for visual impairments.  In Nova Scotia, introductory lessons are available through CADS-NS, and competitive opportunities are available through Alpine Ski Nova Scotia.

Para Skiing in Nova Scotia is governed by Ski Nova Scotia with the support of CADS Nova Scotia.
